Don’t let the plastic design fool you, unlike our competitors, Fangs cover entire skid plate and at the cost of only 1/8” of ground clearance, they act as a bearing surface allowing the skid plates to simply slide on whatever they encounter. Note: Nothing can protect against smashing your skid plates if hit too hard. They're designed that way to preserve the frame that they are bolted to. It is better for the skid plates to bend instead of the frame getting damaged where they mount. The Fangs are designed to protect against the normal scraping and bumping that goes on under normal conditions!
